Over the next few weeks, in our regular Thursday night Table Talk slot, we’ll be exploring Christian meditation.
Lectio Divina is an ancient way of praying using Scripture known as Holy Reading. It is said that at one time it was practiced by all Christians. Today it is mainly practiced by monastics but is becoming increasingly popular among the laity as a form of meditative reading and contemplative prayer. Over four weeks we will be exploring Lectio using the Scriptures or other Christian texts.
