Church at Castle Seder Meal

Tuesday 11th April, 1830, St Augustine’s

A Christian Passover celebration, remembering the last supper using the symbolic Jewish foods. Followed by Holy Communion.

Easter storytelling session for children aged 3-10.

Good Friday

Friday 14th April, 1045, Castle Street Methodist Church

Join Rev Alan Ashton for a service entitled ‘Hope in Death’. There is also a Liturgy of Good Friday at 1515 at St Giles’ Church.

Easter Day

Celebration on Castle Mound, 0800, Castle Hill

All are welcome to celebrate Easter together in word and song in a gathering at Castle Mound. Access to the Mound is through the Shire Hall car park off Castle Street.

Easter breakfast, 0900, Castle Street Methodist Church

Start Easter with an egg…or a cup of coffee, or a slice of toast as we come together for food and fellowship at our traditional Easter breakfast.

Easter Communion service, 1045, Castle Street

A service of joy for all ages, including Holy Communion, led by Chaplain of The Leys School, Rev Clifford Meharry.

Easter Sunday Iona service, 1900, St Luke’s

Reflect on the events of Easter at our monthly Church at Castle evening service which follows the customs of the Iona community.
