Rail

Castle Street Methodist Church is about 2.5km from Cambridge railway station. The Citi 1 bus runs every 10 minutes Mondays-Saturdays and every 30 minutes on Sundays. Get off at Chesterton Road/Hertford Street and walk along Chesterton Road to Castle Street then up the hill to the church.

Bus

Citi bus routes 1, 2, 5 and 7 all run close to the church. Stagecoach have maps and timetables.

Bicycle

There are many cycle routes in Cambridge. You may find the Cambridge Cycling Campaign journey planner helpful.

A-style cycle racks can be found near the St Peter’s Street entrance to the car park. There are also wall brackets either side of the Castle St entrance (between the church and church hall). If these are both full, there are some iron railings on both the Castle Street and St Peter’s Street sides.

Car

Nearby main roads into Cambridge are the A14 and the M11. Note that junction 13 of the M11 is only available to northbound traffic.

Cambridgeshire County Council operates a Park and Ride service

The church car park (accessed via St Peter’s Street) is free for Sunday services and evening events.

Castle Park at the top of Castle Hill is Pay and Display Monday-Friday 0800-1900 and Saturday 0900-1900. Free at other times.

Shire Hall car park in front of the County Council buildings is open to the public out of normal working hours ie closed 0900-1700 Monday-Thursday and 0900-1630 Friday.

There is some roadside parking in the streets around the Church. This is Pay and Display 0900-1700 Monday-Saturday. On Sundays this parking is free. Some places are for residents and car club members only so do please check the signs before stopping.
