Since the last update there has been considerable visible progress. All the major scaffolding has now gone, indicating that all stone cleaning, guttering and high level decoration is now finished.

In the passage between the church and church hall, the old concrete area has been broken up. A new layout for surface water drainage is needed before the Yorkstone paving can be laid.
Internally, high level work in the church is complete. The ceiling has been cleaned and touched up, the new lights are functioning and the walls decorated. The new organ blower is in place. Work on the organ itself can now take place.
Meeting rooms are painted, lights working, cupboards in place and radiators being connected. That just leaves window glazing and floor carpet to make the rooms complete.

The two-storey glazed screen of the new entrance lobby has been installed. With this in place, the spiral staircase is now being installed, along with other structures in the lobby.

The platform at the front of the church is being extended and modifications are being made to allow the communion rail to be detached, leaving a stage area.
